National

New Sign Chooseability offers news on a range of disability issues. It is unique in that it encourages news contributions from the site's visitors.

Disability Grapevine is an online newspaper featuring stories and articles about disability issues. The newspaper features breaking news, historical facts, famous quotations, an advice column, letters to the editor, classified ads, and much more.

Disability Solutions is a publication providing free, accessible, information that is useful, sensitive, and current to everyone concerned with developmental disabilities including, parents, families, self-advocates, and professionals. The goal is to bring current research, medical information, educational strategies, and practical suggestions to readers in language that is easily understood.

International Disability News Ticker offers late-breaking disability news from a number of countries spanning the globe. News coverage is offered on the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan, Sri Lanka, South Africa and more.

Mainstream Magazine, an on-line magazine produced by, for and about people with disabilities, covers news and current affairs, new products and technology, profiles of leading disability advocates, education, employment, sexuality and relationships, housing, transportation, as well as travel and recreation. The site also features links to additional news sources and a number of disability related resources and organizations. Mainstream encourages comments from its readers. On A Roll radio is a nationally syndicated, live, weekly, talk radio show that deals with different issues of disabilities and life. This web site gives you the chance to read about guests who have been on the show or you can listen to the recent shows with AudioNet. The site also has a listing of the current radio network, such as Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Phoenix and many more. On a Roll radio has recently expanded its audience adding 30 new radio stations as part of Talk America Network. You can dial in on the Talk America Radio Network on Sundays at 9:00 PM EST. If you have a RealPlayer plug-in, you can listen live on the Internet at Talk America.

New Hampshire

New Hampshire Challenge is a quarterly news publication that covers disability issues from a family perspective. This publication offers the latest disability news in New Hampshire as well as a listing of state agencies and resources/


New York

Able Newspaper is "a monthly newspaper that is published for, by and about the disabled, with the focus on the able." The paper, which is available in print format for a small monthly fee, features New York specific disability-related news, a calendar of events, columns written by various experts, a variety of informative articles and personal ads. A number of articles are also featured on their website and can be accessed free of charge. Wisconsin

The Source, published monthly by REKAB Publications, is written for Wisconsin and Illinois residents.
