New Sign IMPACT (Independently Merging Parents Associations Of California) is an "organization of parents, teachers, and professionals serving deaf and hard-of-hearing children" in California. The purpose of IMPACT is to work "as a single voice" to get the very best for deaf and hard-of-hearing children in services and educational programs. IMPACT supports all communication methods. IMPACT provides information on their website about "Legislation" in California affecting children with disabilities including links to their sources of information. There is also information about "Conferences" and "Events" around the state. The "Resources Links" page provides links to a variety of related websites covering national organizations and agencies, California agencies, legislation, books, hearing related and sign language sites, educational materials and publications, assistive devices, and more.
