New Horizons Un-Limited Inc.In addition to the standard Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), Ohio also offers the Percentage of Income Payment Plan (PIPP), a program that allows low income Ohio residents to make payments to their Utility Company based on a percentage of their household income. Under PIPP, you pay 15% of your monthly income to your gas/electric provider. Ability Center of Greater Toledo will be awarding $10,000 in scholarships for the 2005-06 academic year to college students with disabilities. To qualify, an applicant must be a permanent resident of Lucas, Wood, Fulton, Henry, Defiance, Williams or Ottawa counties in Ohio. The application deadline is April 15, 2005.
