Individuals with lifelong disabilities are often isolated from information, life experiences, the community and even each other. By volunteering for an organization that serves people with disabilites, you will be helping to assist people with disabilities towards greater self-confidence, help them discover a sense of purpose, and enable them to seek out opportunities to improve their lives.
You will make a direct impact on your community and country!
Your leadership as a volunteer will have a direct impact on two organizations for people with disabilities:

You will be able to discover people and organizations making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities in your local community and assist in the development of an information and communication network to improve knowledge of disability services through the New Horizons Un-Limited Global Information Village.
