new sign Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU) extends its full range of financial services to members of the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) nationwide. This includes loans, checking and saving accounts, 24-hour electronic account access and a newly created Mobility Loan Program for the purchase of adaptive vehicle equipment. DCU is also working on ways in which their service can be made more accessible to people with disabilities via the Internet. Services available include checking and savings accounts, telephone, Internet and PC banking, as well as an Assistive Technology Loan Fund which provides funds for home improvement, auto/van purchase and other equipment and technology such as wheelchairs, hearing aids, low vision aids, and more.
