New Sign May 20-22, 2010 - Columbus, Ohio - 40th Annual Ohio Wheelchair Games

The Ohio Wheelchair Sports Association, in cooperation with the City of Columbus Recreation and Parks, the Paralyzed Veterans of America, Buckeye Chapter, and Ohio State University, is proud to sponsor the 40th Annual Ohio Wheelchair Games. The Games feature the following events: USTA tennis, archery, field events, NRA Beeman air gun, track, swimming, weightlifting, bowling, table tennis, bocce ball, and billiards. Competition is open to both children (ages 7-21) and adults (ages 21 and up) who are members of Wheelchair Sport, USA. To learn more about membership, visit their website at www.wsusa.org. New Sign 2010 - Greater Toledo, Ohio - Abillity Center will celebrate 90th Anniversary!

In 2010, the Ability Center turns 90! Planning for various celebrations begins this month. They will be looking to connect with people who have benefited from services provided by them over the 90 years. They wish to gather stories and photos to help them best tell their story and build upon their historical archive. If you are or know of someone who is part of their history, who received services from Toledo Crippled Children’s Society, Opportunity Home, Opportunity Kindergarten, Toledo Society for the Handicapped or The Ability Center, they would love to hear from you.
