The Arizona Disabilities Expo will take place on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. in Hall D at the Civic Center Plaza, 111 N. 3rd Street in Phoenix. The Expo will feature keynote speaker, Mary Jo West and exhibits from 100+ organizations that offer products, services and networking opportunities, including DME providers, recreation and sports, support groups, advocacy organizations and MUCH MUCH MORE!! February 1, 2007 - Phoenix, Arizona - Legislative Awareness Day

The Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities will be hosting the Legislative Awareness Day 2007 event for people with developmental disabilities and their families. Participants will gather on the Senate lawn from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. and will have several opportunities to interact with their legislators. Some activities include:

  • Individual Meetings with Legislators
  • Participation in committee hearings at the Senate & House of Representatives
  • Lunch with your Legislator
  • Exhibit expo featuring information from organizations statewide that serve people with developmental disabilities
