November 7-8, 2003 - Deaf Expo West 2003

In its 11th year, Deaf Expo West 2003 will be in Long Beach at the Long Beach Convention Center on Friday and Saturday, November 7 and 8, 2003. Deaf Expo is the only non-profit trade show presented from a deaf perspective. It is a place for the deaf and hard of hearing community to mingle with their peers and an opportunity for hearing people to learn about another culture. The exhibits at Deaf Expo 2003 provide helpful information on services and products relating to education, finance, health, recreation, religion and technology. Deaf Village, a section in the exhibit hall, covers home businesses, arts and crafts and hobbies. The Deaf Expo seminars will focus on the issues of dual identity that minorities in the deaf community face. Admission is $12 for either day if tickets are purchased before September 19, 2003 and $16 if tickets are purchased after the 19th.
