New Sign Alliance Initiative offered by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) works to advance the employment of people with disabilities. The Alliance Initiative is open to businesses and organizations that are committed to working with the Labor Department in developing model policies, programs and strategies that increase recruiting, hiring, advancing, and retaining workers with disabilities. The Alliance Initiative is open to both public and private-sector organizations.

To learn more about how you may become involved in the Initiative, visit the allcontact ODEP's Alliance manager at ODEPAlliance@dol.gov.

Business Leadership Networks (BLN) are peer groups of employers who have successful experience in hiring and employing people with disabilities. This program offers employers access to an overlooked domestic pool of applicants with disabilities, pertinent disability employment information, a network of companies sharing information on specific disability employment issues, and the opportunity to provide training and work experience for job seekers with disabilities. For more information contact the Office of Disability Employment Policy.

Employer Assistance Referral Network (EARN) is a nationwide employer service offered by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy. "EARN works to centralize disability employment resources and services to meet the employers' needs in the hiring of qualified workers." Additionally, through their national toll free number, employers can receive technical assistance on any disability employment related issue. For more information, or to apply for this service, call (866) 327-6669 or e-mail earn@earnworks.com.
