People's Resource Center, serving residents of DuPage County, Illinois, offers the Computer Literacy Training and Access Program. The program offers low-income people marketable computer skills
and basic knowledge about the technology as well as a computer for their home. Volunteer instructors teach six week sessions that include introduction to computers, basics on Windows and file and folder management, and beginning

Special Link serves children and adults with disabilities in Cincinnati, Ohio with training and assessments on computer technology. Training is provided in the homes, schools or places of

ProMentor is a career development center located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin offering training in information technologies. They offer diploma programs in a variety of areas including web design, the Microsoft system, networks, the Internet and much

United Kingdom
Wigram Aid to Ability for
Critically-disabled Internet Students (W.A.A.C.I.S.) is a charity that offers people with disabilities instruction on computer and Internet functions in their own homes. Each participant must have his / her own computer. Fees are waived if an individual earns £150 or less per week. Thereafter, fees are based upon a sliding scale.
