National
Hadley School for the Blind offers distance education courses for eligible students free of charge. Courses include high school level courses and GEDs, academic courses, braille and communication skills, and independent living. Connecticut School for the Blind provides training, education,vocational and residential programs. They have detailed information on their Community Residency, Education, Day Services, Respite Services, Summer and Computer Camps, Training, Resources and more.
Nebraska
Nebraska Association of Blind Students (NABS) is dedicated to assisting blind students achieve their educational goals. They help students "obtain educational materials as well as assist them in finding solutions to problems that they [may]

South Carolina
South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind (SCSDB), located in Spartanburg, SC offers post-secondary programs and services to qualifying adult, state residents who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, blind or visually-impaired, or sensory multidisabled. Their Postsecondary Vocational Training Program is typically one or two years in length and lead to a certificate of completion of the required course work. Students develop portfolios designed to demonstrate their skills to prospective employers. Training areas include Building Maintenance, Digital Arts, Food Service, Forklift Truck Driving, Horticulture Technology, Information Systems Technology (Computers), or Therapeutic Massage (through Spartanburg Technical College). United Kingdom
Queen Alexandra College (QAC) is a national residential and day college of Further Education for people aged 16 - 63 with sight loss and/or other disabilities. They offer a number of educational programs with instruction on business & enterprise, craft & design, cycle mechanics, engineering
manufacture, engineering technologies, glass decoration, horticulture, signwork, and vocational preparation. In the event that they do not offer a particular area of study they also offer associate programs in which students will attend a
mainstream college while still maintaining the necessary support from QAC. Visit their website for more information.
Royal National College for the Blind (RNC) is a residential specialist provider of Further Education based in the city of Hereford in the English West Midlands for adults with visual impairments. They offer a number of programs designed to lead into higher education opportunities. Such programs include study in performing arts, art and design, information and communication technology, health and social care, business, sport and recreation and music technology. They also offer a number of courses designed to lead students into sustained employment. International students are encouraged to apply. Visit their website for more information.
