CyberPT.com, Your On-line Physical Therapy Resource, is an end-to-end comprehensive Internet physical therapy resource connecting consumers and healthcare professionals to the physical therapy community. Their mission is to provide an end to end online physical therapy resource which provides a branded integrated web-based solution for the communication and informational needs for all users of the CyberPT Site. With this achievement they hope to create a more efficient and people oriented healthcare system, reduce costs, empower consumers, and provide further exposure to the physical therapy realm. They also hope to promote and improve wellness and quality of life around the world by using the Internet to facilitate an innovative system for the delivery of information pertaining to physical therapy and health care and an accessible environment for all communications and transactions among physical therapists, other health care professionals, consumers, and organizations allied to healthcare. National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) is sponsored by the United States Department of Education's Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS). They conduct comprehensive and coordinated
programs of research and related activities to maximize the full inclusion, social integration, employment, and independent living of disabled individuals of all ages.
National Rehabilitation Information Center (NARIC) collects and disseminates the results of federally funded research projects. They have a literature collection that includes commercially published books, journal articles, and audiovisuals. The NARIC is sponsored by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR). The National Rehabilitation Information Center (NARIC) serves as a clearinghouse for information on disabilities and rehabilitation information for the general public, patients, advocates, and researchers. The site offers free information and referral for physicians, organizations, and research done on a particular disability. Communication is offered in several ways -via the internet, phone, fax, and mail. The site is well-organizad and offers a "chat" feature which allows visitors to "chat" with an agent directly to locate information not found on the site. rehabNet is designed to educate, inform and provide links to services for individuals with disabilities. Their website offers answers to questions regarding specific disabilities as well as general health care concerns. The site also provides links to a number of disability-related sites spanning across a number of disciplines such as psychology, accessibility, medical rehabilitation, and more. New England States Region
Northeast Rehabilitation Health Network serves New Hampshire and Massachusetts with a number of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. They offer specialty inpatient programs to treat brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputees and those in need of neurological rehabilitation, among others. The Rehabilitation Research Center, For Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury located in the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, CA provides in patient rehabilitation, coordinates community programs (like peer support), and conducts research. Georgia
Walton Rehabilitation Hospital located in Augusta, Georgia attempts to improve the health and enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. They are the only rehabilitation hospital in this area. They offer a variety of services to individuals with disabilities, such as acute and subacute medical rehabilitation programs, as well as physical, occupational and speech therapy. Other programs at the hospital include the Walton Community Services, the Walton Foundation for Independence and the Walton Options for Independent Living.
Maryland
Alliance, Inc., serves Baltimore County residents with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. They offer treatment and rehabilitation in both day and residential programs. In addition to typical treatment, they also offer an Open Forum, encouraging discussion on numerous topics including health, politics, culture, sports, and entertainment, among others. Participants can also take part in their Double Trouble in Recovery (DTR) group, which is a self-help group based on the 12-step recovery process. For more information, call (410) 574-7700. Massachusetts
New England Sinai Hospital and Rehabilitation Center is located in Stoughton, Massachusetts. They provide inpatient, outpatient, transitional and home care services to those who have suffered from stroke, amputation, orthopedic injury, traumatic brain injury, progressive neurological disease, and pulmonary disease. Mississippi
Methodist
Rehabilitation Center is the only freestanding physical rehabilitation facility in the state of Mississippi. They offer a 124-bed facility, which provides comprehensive medical rehabilitation programs for individuals with spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, and other

New York
League for the Hard of Hearing is a private not-for-profit rehabilitation agency licensed by the State of New York Department of Health as an out-of-hospital health facility and licensed by the State of New York Office of Mental Health as an out-patient clinic treatment program. They provide both hearing rehabilitation services as well as human service programs. Some of the services include audiology, communication therapy, community outreach, health access through the Center for Health Care Access, hearing aid dispensing, and hearing tests, among many others. Pennsylvania
Center for Rehab Services (CRS) has locations throughout the Greater Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Metropolitan area. They provide the community with physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs. They also serve the community by offering clinical research, education, teaching and community service. CRS also provides services in several specialty areas including, but not limited to: orthopedic, hand, neurological and industrial rehabilitation. Magee Rehabilitation Hospital is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is the areas original provider of physical and cognitive rehabilitation. They are committed to restoring the highest level of independence possible to individuals with disabilities. Wisconsin

St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, serves a wide age range with a wide variety of outpatient rehabilitative services. Transitional Living Services, Inc., located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, offers a wide range of rehabilitation services to Wisconsin Residents with Mental Illness.
