Karis Group is a for-profit corporation that works to mediate between patients and providers to lower / eliminate an individual's medical bills. They offer limited FREE assistance to individuals. They review all submitted applications and accept applications from those most in need. They will contact eligible applicants. Another option if your bills exceed $5,500.00 at a single facility is to contact Christian Financial Ministries, a partner of The Karis Group. This group can help you determine whether or not you are likely to qualify for government or private entitlement programs (Medicaid, etc.), review the availability of third-party payors (insurance, etc.), determine whether funds are available through charitable programs, attempt to negotiate a settlement with the provider, and/or attempt to arrange a payment schedule that you and the provider will accept. Georgia

The Georgia Partnership for Caring Foundation (GPCF) is a private, non-profit organization comprised of health care providers who have donated their time and products to provide non-emergency health care services for Georgia's low-income uninsured persons who are living below the federal poverty level. They do not offer assistance for past medical bills. For more information, call their toll-free client line at (800) 982-4723.
