Access Technology: Computer Access for People with Disabilities

It is our mission, via our Access Technology Initiative, to increase access to computer technology among our community members with disabilities. We do so by refurbishing and redistributing surplus computers back into our local community and by offering basic and intermediate computer training.

More about Access Technology...

We believe that computer and Internet technology can serve as "the" equalizer, bringing people with and without disabilities together to live, learn and work in our communities. Technology access can change lives; offering a benefit as simple as having a means to communicate with the world to having a tool for sustained employment or continuing education.

Via our Access Technology Initiative, we provide a gateway for people with disabilities to access information and life experiences by providing training in computer and Internet technology and by making technology more accessible to them in their homes and communities.
